Join the Las Cruces Space Festival and a variety of aerospace agencies, museums, STEAM-related organizations, and more at the Spaceport America Open House.

Participating agencies include Virgin Galactic, NMSU's Physical Science Lab, System's Go, the New Mexico Space History Museum, among others who will be named closer to the event.

The event will take place from 10am-2pm and is free to attend. There will be food vendors on site. Because of limited parking, attendees are encouraged to carpool (vehicles will need at least two people and no more than eight people per) and anyone 18 and over is required to have photo ID.

Spaceport America is the first purpose-built commercial spaceport in the world. The FAA-licensed launch complex, situated on 18,000 acres adjacent to the U.S. Army White Sands Missile Range in southern New Mexico, has a rocket friendly environment of 6,000 square miles of restricted airspace, low population density, a 12,000-foot by 200-foot runway, vertical launch complexes, and about 340 days of sunshine and low humidity.
