The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Land of Enchantment Chapter is dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of girls and women in all aviation and aerospace career fields and interests across the state of New Mexico.

WAI is a non-profit organization whose international membership includes pilots, astronauts, aircraft mechanics, engineers, air traffic controllers, business owners, educators, journalists, flight attendants, high school and university students, air show performers, airport managers, and many others.

We introduce young girls and women of all ages to aviation and aerospace career opportunities and provide support to those pursuing the profession by offering education, outreach, networking, mentoring and scholarships.

The **Land of Enchantment Chapter** is the first WAI chapter in New Mexico in the 30+ year history of WAI. Established as a chapter in June of 2020, we are excited to provide education and career opportunities to girls and young women in support of the large and ever-growing aviation and aerospace industry in our state.
