Virtual Happy Hour with Special Guest Speaker, Erin Miller

Erin Miller is the proud granddaughter of Elaine Danforth Harmon, a member of the Women Airforce Service Pilots (WASP) during WWII. Her grandmother’s last request was to be laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery (ANC). After she died in April 2015, this request was denied by the US Army which runs ANC. Erin led a grassroots, social media, and direct lobbying campaign to fight the decision. This campaign was a success.

Erin has since authored two books. One is titled, "Final Flight, Final Fight" and the children's book is titled, "What Grandma Did."

“Final Flight, Final Fight” is about Elaine Danforth Harmon’s life, and for the fight Erin, her mother and her sisters fought to grant their grandmother’s last request - to be buried with full military honors at Arlington National Cemetery.

It is highly recommended to read Erin’s book prior to the virtual happy hour so that you can ask her any questions about the books that you may have.
