On Memorial Day - Honor the Women Airforce Service Pilots of WWII
“Honor the WASP” was started by the WAI Capital Region Chapter, who diligently worked to catalog every one of the known buried Women Airforce Service Pilots with their location into a spreadsheet so that these women could be honored on Memorial Day to keep their memories and contributions alive.

There are three known WASP buried in the Santa Fe National Cemetery that we plan to visit and honor. Our chapter will provide commemorative tags and flowers for the gravesites.
Please help us honor these women on Monday, May 29th from 11am-1pm.
If you are interested in carpooling with other chapter members, please indicate by entering “Yes” and the city you are carpooling from on the sign-up page, and we will get your connected with each other.
Please meet at the entrance to the Santa Fe National Cemetery by Admin/Restrooms at 11am. (see map below)
